Acid Rain Production is a televised experimental video series that I produce and curate. It currently broadcasts on cable access channels: The Peoples Channel, and Durham Access Media in North Carolina, and Manhattan Neighborhood Network in New York. Acid Rain Production is a unique venue for contemporary video work in which a single video art piece loops consistently for one hour, several times a week, for one month, on community-based tv stations that reach directly into homes and businesses. Through the medium of television, I hope to successfully link new-media artists to the community at large and bring about a better understanding of contemporary issues of artistic practice and social concern.
