Immersive installation of sculpture, multimedia, raw materials, found objects,

and a painted interior combining the psychological and symbolic  power of

color with references to arson, media, and activism.  The video component,

“Machinehead (Deep Purple Loop)“, consists of the artist, dressed in costume

as the musician ‘Buckethead’, performing Deep Purple’s “Smoke on the Water”,

on guitar.  Objects exhibited on the table included hand made ceramic trail mix,

cast hacky sacks, a magic eight ball, handmade match book’s, and other forms that

were either found or made.  ”On The Inside” was exhibited at the Mattress Factory

Museum of Art, in Pittsburgh, from February to August, 2011.
